in the price – If your horse is not able to help you
experience what you need to feel, one of ours may be just
right.
Feel you or your horse are not fit
enough for an intensive program? Camp may be perfect for
you! We will tailor the work to YOUR needs, not a
group standard. We enjoy helping riders who take time to
develop their skills. But if you want more of a
challenge, just let us
know.! We’ll help you learn while you are here and give you
homework to keep you busy afterwards. Campers are reporting
immediate gains in training & show ring performance after
the weekend with us.
“Campers” may arrive any time Friday morning to settle in
and explore the farm. Camp starts at noon with a welcome
lunch. First lessons start soon after, with videotape to
review in the evening with your instructor.
Saturday and Sunday each person receives both a private and
a semi-private lesson each day. The focus may be on making
your communication with your horse more clear, working to
move your horse up to the next level, developing a better
seat, preparing for the show season – you decide!
Save lots of room for lunch and
snacks. Our gourmet chef will whip up new light,
healthy, but plentiful surprises each day for you to enjoy
in the morning and at our sit-down lunches.
Take advantage of fine local B & Bs, hotels, and restaurants
to enjoy the pool, hot tub, and great dining in the evening.
Or if you REALLY want to camp, the Kettle Moraine State Park
is only 2 miles from the farm, complete with lake, beach,
hiking trails, horse trails, mountain bike trails, and
lovely scenery.
Small group camps make it easy for us to be flexible. Horses
coming a long distance may stay Thursday and Sunday nights,
for a slight additional fee. Our Sunday schedule can be
arranged to accommodate those who have a long drive or
afternoon airline flights. Just let us know what you need.
The cost is only $500 for you and your horse, and includes
all Farm activities, stabling, yummy lunches and snacks, use
of school masters, and 3 days of non-stop instruction,
learning, and fun. ONLY 8 CAMPERS PER SESSION!!
