This gorgeous mare loves to work in dressage, loves to jump, is brave, sound and uncomplicated.  She adores attention, including all grooming and clipping, and would love to have her own person at last! She has had several months of professional hunter training and has successfully schooled over cross country obstacles through Training Level type and size.  She has been used for dressage lessons for riders working through Second Level.  She is light in the bridle and to the leg, and prefers a rider with soft hands, but is tolerant of a variety of rider shortcomings.  She would make a great dressage or event horse, and has the jumping style for the hunters.  Her price reflects the fact  that we have too many horses, so her training and work have been neglected for the past months.  It would be a challenge to find a horse of this quality at this price, if in full work.

Amazing bloodlines, if you know dressage.  The grand-dam of Politesse is Antine, the dam of Relevant.  Antine is also a full sister to Olympic horses Ahlerich, and Amon, a full sister to the dam of Rembrandt.

Politesse has had a very successful career as a broodmare, producing some of our top-priced youngsters.  All have had super temperaments, as well as the movement and conformation you might expect from the bloodlines.  As we closed our breeding program, "Tess" has changed careers to become a patient teacher of riders, and a  great mount to introduce riders to the show ring.  Last shown in 2008, at Training and First Levels, she never scored under 65%, with most scores near 70%.  Light in the mouth and to the leg, she is a willing worker.

We are downsizing our lesson program, and have too many schoolmasters!  She is 16.1 and big-bodied, show ring sound, sweet, an easy keeper, and ready to go on teaching another rider.  Priced to sell.
